Hello all! Activity check has been completed and characters have been swept for inactivity or they've been dropped in this round of AC or close and prior to it.

Characters that have been removed from the game have been, for IC intents and purposes, sent back through the portals, either to wherever they were prior to Eglaf or back home; no one really knows for sure.

Okay guys, to inject a little levity in the game after a heavy October plot and a pretty heavy RL November for a lot (if not all) of us, while the portals are being worked on to try to formally repair them, another oops has befallen the unlucky Supers.

Additionally, OG Displaced Super, Anonymous is feeling a little punchy, so they've decided to mess with the Supers network again.

Both of these plots' effects will start to reverse themselves or taper off in severity respectively on Thursday, November 19, and will have completely reversed themselves/ended by the night of Saturday, November 21.

Hey guys! So, now that we're about halfway into the plot, I wanted to give you guys a rundown of the skeleton of how the rest of this plot will be playing out. There are a few things I'm leaving out (which will be revealed when certain things actually play out), but for the most part, here's the timeline for the rest of the plot. Please use the comments section below to plot amongst yourselves to claim certain pieces for your characters or discuss ways to flesh out the things.

THIS WEEKEND (10/16 & 10/17)

• Supers discover one of the “hiding spots
• People had gone missing the night before, so the scents were very new which is what helps the discovery (so one of the wolfy groups would be able to do this)
• Underground crypt in the outskirts of the city, everyone is unconscious
• Taken to the hospital and they regain consciousness after 10-12 hours, traces of an unknown sedative is discovered in their system

WEEK OF 10/18-10/24

• 10/18 & 10/19: No one else goes missing directly after the crypt discovery
• 10/20: An attempt is made to catch the person behind the disappearances, but before they’re caught, the hallucinogens from the maze are used and the culprit manages to escape unseen
• 10/22: Another attempt is made, but this time someone is actually caught. They can be taken to the authorities or the Supers can question them first **NOTE:** Whichever route is taken, let me know and, as the mod, I'll release information based on the path taken by the players (available information & recipients of said information may differ based on the chosen outcome).

WEEK OF 10/25-10/31

• Some of the traps at the maze are found thanks to the person that was taken into custody
• The Supers can help go through the hidden areas in the maze and the wolves can find scents that can help them find any remaining missing people (2-3 more people)
• The rest of the missing are found
• **END OF PLOT**: Keep an eye out for information released by the Eglaf Appeal to wrap up the plot completely.

October has arrived, and with it, Eglaf has started to prepare for the Oktoberfest and Halloween festivities. Posters have gone up about parties on the last Saturday of the month, and trick-or-treating events have been coordinated in the shopping district for kids and kids-at-heart.

The thing everyone seems to be looking forward to, though, is the annual corn maze that has been set up the edge of town, complete with food vendors for hot apple cider, kettle corn, and pumpkin spice everything. So much fun!

Except, this year, the corn maze is not exactly made for fun. Not for everyone that actually goes in, anyway. The cornstalks sometimes move and rustle as if someone is trapped within them. It will seem like nothing but a special effect added to scare people until hands come out of nowhere to pull people in. Not everyone who enters the maze will be affected, but locals and Supers alike are at the mercy of whatever is behind it as people begin to go missing. Some will go missing for a few hours, others for a day, others for up to four days. The missing will be in crypts or trapped in another underground maze and be released in different spots throughout the city to avoid any real patterns. They won't remember what happened past the point at which they walked into the maze.

The cherry on top, though? Throughout the maze, there will be spots where a sort of spray will fall on the attendees. It will feel like drizzle at first, nothing out of the ordinary, but within a minute they will start feeling the effects of the hallucinogens that have been converted in liquid form to give people a “unique” maze experience. The hallucinations can be whatever you want your character to see, and as strong as you’d like them to be - from something as simple as spiders coming out of the cornstalks, to seeing their greatest fears coming at them. The effects will last an hour, so it’s up to you if they’ll ride it out there or make it out while being high.

The corn maze opens today, October 1st, and will be taken down on Sunday, November 1st. There's a lot of ways people can be involved: by being trapped, creating or joining rescue parties for those that the maze swallows up, being hit by hallucinations during a visit, or anything else your imagination can come up with!

At the end of AC, any characters not accounted for will be swept and any players with no characters in-game after sweeps will be removed from the Discord chat (you're welcome to re-app your character if they're swept and after being accepted, you can return to the chat) just to clean up a little bit. I know that we've left some players in place in the past, but it's probably time to keep it locked to players, again.
